RoutoMessaging two way SMS serviceRoutoMessaging two way SMS service. Where no technical arrangement and / or commercial relationship exists between two parties for the bi-directional delivery of messages and where these parties could be operators or service providers, RoutoMessaging bridges the gap with its Reply Service.

When terminating messages through the SMS Transit Service, RoutoMessaging offers the ability for the recipient mobile users of such messages terminated to them to reply that would not have been possible due to the absence of such an arrangement / relationship. The Reply Service utilises both Long Numbers placed in the sender ID field of the messages to the recipient and RoutoMessaging's intelligent proxy technology that matches up the reply message to the original sender upon the recipient replying to the Long Number. In order that the recipient knows who the original sender is, the real sender's mobile number is placed at the top of the body of message.

  • There is a list operator from which replies can originate from. The list is continuously being updated with new additions.
  • A charge may apply to receive messages from some operators.
  • Messages are sent and received by you through our HTTP (to a URL) or SMPP APIs.
  • Provisioning of the Reply Service typically takes 2-3 weeks.
  • There is no premium rate for mobile users to reply.  However, an international rate may apply depending on whether the mobile user is in a different country to the prefix of the Long Number.
  • A minimum prepayment for mobile terminated messages is required for new clients.

If you are a developer building SMS, RoutoMessaging is keen to work with you to deliver an economical, efficient and transparent solution for your end users.
